BMW recently unveiled its all-new 2024 BMW X5 and 2024 X6 models, and the improvements to the brand's two luxury SUVs are significant. These luxurious, high-performance vehicles benefit from the latest developments in engines, technology and aesthetics. The engines in the new 2024 X5 and 2024 X6 models are more powerful and efficient than ever, offering improved performance while lowering fuel consumption. In addition, the exterior has been completely redesigned and enhanced to provide drivers with a more luxurious and modern look, while the interior benefits from new technologies designed to enhance the driving experience. Production of the all-new 2024 BMW X5 and 2024 BMW 2024 is scheduled to begin at BMW's Spartanburg plant in April 2023.

New range of more efficient and powerful engines
The engines of the 2024 BMW X5 and X6 have been improved, offering increased power and efficiency.
The all-new generation of the BMW X5 xDrive40i and X6 xDrive40i are equipped with mild-hybrid technology integrated into the in-line 6-cylinder engine. This incredibly powerful and efficient engine delivers 375 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of peak torque, 40 horsepower and 51 lb-ft of torque more than the previous model. These vehicles give you the power of a V8 without compromising fuel economy.
The BMW X5 xDrive50e plug-in hybrid (PHEV) offers a great balance of power and efficiency with its gasoline engine combined with its electric drive unit. The powertrain offers a maximum output of 483 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, allowing drivers to enjoy dynamic and sporty driving while reducing fuel consumption. The vehicle's estimated electric range is another key benefit of the X5 xDrive50e with 64 km (according to NRCan figures) of electric freedom. That's about 14 kilometers more than the previous X5 PHEV.
The BMW X5 M60i and X6 M60i models feature the all-new BMW TwinPower Turbo V8 engine that delivers powerful performance. The 523 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of peak torque give both models phenomenal accelerations, taking them from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. These vehicles are the very definition of a sporty, high-performance SUV.
A new, even more elegant silhouette
The 2024 BMW X5 and X6 feature breathtaking styling. The front of the vehicles features a narrow front grille that can be backlit for the first time on the X5 with redesigned headlights and a new curved LED lighting element. The front side air vents feature an enhanced design, while vertical air intakes contribute to the dynamic width of the model. LED taillights provide a signature look that completes the sporty look.
The 2024 BMW X6 has also been designed to offer expressive and powerful yet exclusive styling, with slim headlights and arrow-shaped daytime running lights, an M Sport badge under the BMW grille, as well as powerful side openings and generous use of black that accentuate its sporty appeal.
An even more luxurious interior
The 2024 BMW X5 and X6 feature a more modern and sophisticated interior. A single glass surface houses the 14.9-inch BMW Curved Display and 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. The center screen offers intuitive touch-controlled functions and natural voice interaction for easy access to various vehicle features. The horizontal dashboard and Sensafin upholstery also contribute to an even more luxurious feel to the refined interior.
