The launch of the XM played a pivotal role, contributing to BMW Canada’s claim as the second-largest market globally for BMW M within overall sales. Simultaneously, there was a surge in demand for electrified vehicles, with a notable 30% increase for the main brand. Record-breaking figures were achieved, with models featuring a charging port accounting for 20% of overall sales. Deliveries of pure EVs spiked by an impressive 91%, representing 13% of all cars sold in Canada in the past year.

MINI concluded 2023 with resilience, delivering 4,415 cars, marking a substantial 17.5% increase compared to 2022. Noteworthy performers included the 5-Door hatchback (+45.3% YoY increase), the convertible (+81.8%), and the Countryman crossover (+25%). BMW Motorrad celebrated a record year in Canada, delivering 2,789 units in 2023, reflecting a commendable 7% increase over the previous year.
