Interior and Exterior Design
With the all-new 2024 BMW X5 and X6 range, you’ll be treated to vehicles that won’t leave anyone indifferent. The German manufacturer has upgraded its exterior design with even sportier lines than usual, an effect that is even more enhanced if you opt for the M package, adding sporty options. The brand’s signature front grille is enhanced by the slender headlights, making the vehicle look both luxurious and imposing.
Inside, the sunroof illuminates a sober, two-tone interior with a leather finish and decorative elements with a wood effect. In addition, you can equip your vehicle with scented cartridges for an interior that always smells good with cartridges to be changed every six months. It is also possible to get massaging front seats with eight massage programs and three intensity levels to relax you during long trips. Hybrid Power and Performance
If you choose the plug-in hybrid model of the BMW X5, you will have a range of up to 64 km. In addition, the recharging capacity has been doubled compared to the previous generation hybrids with a battery that can now recharge up to 7.4 kW/h. BMW has also taken the opportunity to offer you even more power and the X5 can now deliver 483 horsepower for an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
The powertrain information for the BMW X6 in hybrid is not yet official, but since it is a sportier model than the X5, we can expect even more impressive performance. The battery is expected to offer 25.7-kWh of power.
Technology and infotainment
Technology is at the heart of BMW’s new plug-in hybrid SUV with a professional digital cockpit including a heads-up display, video information displayed in augmented reality, navigation and more. With the BMW Digital Key system, your smartphone becomes a smart key allowing you to unlock the vehicle automatically and start it without even unlocking your phone. You’ll have the option to equip your vehicle with Glass Controls so you can control driving modes, Start/Stop and more with your fingertips.
The BMW X5 can be equipped with a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond premium surround sound system. This 1,475-watt system is spread across about 20 speakers. These speakers include two tweeters for high frequencies, four speakers in the roof lines to add depth to the sound, seven Continuum speakers for the middle of the audio spectrum, and even an amplifier in the luggage compartment for bass. With this system, you’ll also have interior elements that light up to match the music being played.
Safety and Driver-Assistance
BMW strives to make driving as smooth and enjoyable as possible with various systems to assist you. The BMW Trailer Assistant makes maneuvering easier when you have a trailer attached to the vehicle, while the Parking Assistant can park your vehicle automatically even when the maneuver is not obvious.
