World-renowned for its performance and luxury vehicles, BMW is pushing the limits of power and performance with its new XM concept. Its ambition? To compete with the most powerful brands such as Ferrari and Lamborghini. Here’s a closer look at the all-new BMW XM sports utility vehicle, which will be officially unveiled at the end of this year.
A UNIQUE DESIGN
The lines and curves of the BMW XM are so remarkably designed that you’ll be in awe of its elegance, luxury and strength. The XM version will retain some of BMW’s familiar elements such as the huge grilles, the overlapping exhausts and the futuristic two-section headlights. And to pay tribute to the first M1 that appeared in 1978, two BMW logos are located on the top of the rear windshield. Its unique and unconventional rear design will leave you speechless.
INTERIOR
For the interior, the designers were greatly inspired by the X7 model. Although the XM is an SUV, its configuration is only five seats. Leather, a sober, discreet and elegant material, blends majestically well with the more modern elements.
AUTONOMY
The XM is a plug-in hybrid, so it is not entirely electric. Its electric motor and its 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 engine are in perfect symbiosis and will give you a power of up to 750 horsepower. Its electric range is approximately 50 kilometers. The XM 2023 is the most powerful BMW ever!
PRICE
This model is estimated at more than $100,000. However, as of today, no further details have been provided for Canadian pricing.
INFOTAINMENT
A large curvilinear screen stretches across the dashboard serving as both a digital dashboard and infotainment system. The XM will feature BMW’s iDrive rotary control. Systems such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless are expected to be standard, and SiriusXM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot and a premium stereo system would also be included.
